Ex 2 ( Dated for 3 months ) - I broke it off with her, she begged me to get back with her about 3 days afterwards. Ex 3 ( Dated for a year ) - The first time we broke up it was her decision. Random messages telling me that she missed me / would call me drunk begging for me back.I got back with her ( luls ) and we just broke up for a second time and it was my decision.In the same regard, when a relationship ends, it is much much harder for a guy to go back and discuss and revisit and talk through and explain, etc. In fact, guys like to keep their emotional spectrum focused on a tight range of emotions – somewhere between amusement and contentedness.
And it had needed a year to mature sufficiently to do it.

Perhaps something remains unsaid for you, even now.
